Traffic in Scranton peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Can't believe something like this exist within City boundaries. So many things to do and see in one place. I especially appreciated the butterfly Gardens. We were there for a hike along the water, over the bridge, to the Gorge and waterfall. Trails could be marked much better. Lots of maintenance needed on wooden railings and trash pickup. Also visited the treehouse and Rose Garden

Beautiful park located right in Scranton. Lots of walk-in paths with a great view of the covered bridge and river gorge.

Really big, but I did not see any restrooms or water. At end of a town, next to a Hospital. Gigantic parking lots. Safe surroundings. People of all ages.

This was an incredible stop for the family. I wished we had planned on spending more time there. We weren't able to see it all, but we will definitely be back. Bathrooms were closed when we went but pretty sure they don't open until Memorial Day typically.

Love visiting here when back in Scranton. Hikes can be difficult with how steep things are and a lot of uneven ground, wet leaves etc. There are some paved paths but still pretty steep if physically compromised or not in fair health. We had some older people in our group and were able to navigate the terrain, though moderately challenging, with some caution. The scenic views are worth the trek.
